Do you need to have Driver's Abstracts completed?
Businesses are required to set up an AMVIR account prior to coming into a registry office. The links following provide information on how to set up a number, and will take you through the process.

Once an AMVIR number is set up... An authorized individual may come with a AMVIR request typed on the company letterhead.
Required information:
-each client needs to have two identifying markers, i.e. - Legal name; date of birth; MVID and/or Driver's license number.
- Indicate who the information is being released to;
-state what section of the AMVIR that they are requesting under as well as the reason.
-type of search is required - 3, 5, or 10 year personal or commercial abstract.
The letter must also include the AMVIR number, be dated and signed by the authorized individual making the request.
